Ruffwear Highlands Dog Sleeping Bag — Research Review

Best for Backpacking, camping, and trail use (manufacturer-stated intended uses)., Dogs needing a lightweight, compressible outdoor sleeping bag (manufacturer describes the form factor as lightweight and compressible).

The Ruffwear Highlands is a lightweight, compressible synthetic-down sleeping bag for dogs intended for backpacking, camping, trail use and outdoor sleep comfort. It uses 120 g recycled polyester synthetic down insulation, a 75D cire polyester shell with DWR (bluesign approved), and a 40D polyester lining. It compresses into an included stuff sack (approx. 12 x 7 in) and is listed on Amazon (ASIN B082FNTHPS). The manufacturer does not provide a temperature rating and indicates it is not sufficient alone near freezing.
