What that means for your dog: pick by water first. Boats, moving water, and anything with current justify the Float Coat’s level-flotation construction. Pool, lake, and calm swimming are where the Granby’s head-support float matters. If your dog is between sizes, very small, or very large, the DFD’s 4XS–XL run and heavy-duty handle close gaps the other two don’t cover.
