The Granby is Outward Hound’s foam-flotation swim jacket, and its defining design choice is a front float: a panel ahead of the chest intended to hold the head and neck up. Foam panels run across the torso, and reflective trim runs the shell. This page compiles the manufacturer’s published sizing and features; we have not swimming-tested it.

Outward Hound sizes the Granby by chest girth, not weight. Measure the widest part of the chest and find the row:

The handle column matters more than it looks: from Medium up, the dual handles exist so two people can lift a large dog out of the water together. On XS and Small there is one top handle, which is proportionate to the smaller dog it is lifting.
The fit warning that actually matters
A flotation jacket only works while it stays where it was put. A loose Granby can ride up over the head, which turns the head-support float into decoration. Fit by girth, snug over the widest point of the chest, and check that it cannot slide forward.
